There is no place like home.

True enough especially when you come from a place where you celebrate the abundance of good gourmet which brings joy to your heart. The taste of harmonized flavors tantalizing your taste buds, you are always tempted to have more after the first bite.

Oh gosh, my home state.

The place where every corner you turn, you will not miss your sight in seeing hawker stalls which sell tasty local dishes. And where they are, prices are reasonably cheap and very much affordable for humble people living at modest.

I could still remember how mom used to buy breakfast and put it on the dining table for us, late night suppers with best buddies after the weekend night-outs and not to be missed, the occasional Sunday night dinner with family whereby dad would bring us out for some seafood or plainly hawker centres so that everyone can be together.

I have grown fond to these places and the good food surrounding it.

Well, I can only long to go back home again but for now, just to curb those cravings, hope these little snapshots will be at ease:

Sorry, but I'll have to say that I am starting to miss you now.
