The art of retention.

As I started off in the advertising industry with a CRM cum Digital agency, there were few key things that I've learned throughout the almost 2 years tenure I had with them.

One thing that I noticed differently in a CRM agency was that every piece of communication is treated as a form of relationship. Put in a persona, infuse feelings into it and it will talk right back to you.

And when this happens, it formed a two-way communication, the most effective outcome that you can gain when consumers respond to the piece of communication that you developed.

So what's next ? Of course this relationship shall be continued by a well executed flow of communications from time to time.

You see, the art of blogging applies the same principle as well. In order to keep the visitors coming back to read  your blog, you must be able to generate interesting content and most importantly to make the interaction within the readers as personal as possible.

True enough, without the following, you fail as a content provider in the virtual realm.

Hence this is why I fucking-ly hate it when I commented on people's blog, they tend not to reply or when they do they "skipped" your comment by replying to other instead. Same goes to here, if you find out that I missed out on replying your comments, please do send me an email by reminding me to always reply people's comments.

This exercise can only help to improve the way I manage this blog more effectively.

Thanks.

Yes, if someone leaves a comment on my blog, i will try to give as meaningful of a response as possible.. unless like Danny said those simple 'haha' comments.. then u can't reply much...

but when i comment on other person's blog, i don't really mind if they don't reply.. :)

It's okay, you don't HAVE to reply to my reply. I'd prefer it if you WANTED to.

@tuls: I always reply your comments. And regarding you replying mine, I am not sure...

:(

@Danny: :) or maybe I'll laugh back as well.

Hehe...

@J-boy: I mean the comment box it's where the exchange of thoughts happen, and I view it kind of importantly.

@chaiminhuei: That's the thing, I've made it a commitment for me to reply as I think it's kind of like an ethical thing to practice.

@ooi200: Aiks, since when I am your bitch ?

@Monsterrr: So, be sure to reply my comments...

Hehe...
