Days Before Eve

And oh yes, am feeling domesticated.

A housewife that is.

No, I don't smoke.

Been obediently following mum to wherever she goes - wet market, hypermarket, departmental stores and to the market again.

That's my routine for the past 5 days, since I came back home last Saturday. (Wow, it's been 5 days already ? Time passes fast.)

Tomorrow is the eve of the new Lunar New Year, and I would say still a lot more to be done.

Been cooking the past 2 days mainly for the annually ancestral prayer, as for the reunion dinner we'll be having a proper dine-in dinner instead of the usual steamboat meal.

I guess for a change, it will be good.

Once that done, final cleaning on the house and get the decorations up and ready. Kind of last minute, but I guess I work best under pressure ?
