A sucker for good-deals, and a frequent shopaholic. Must go in, something worth buying waiting for you.
I got a shock yesterday evening.
I was about to pack my stuff, and call it a day when I unexpectedly received a text message which says something like this:
Our house tenancy agreement is about to end, and the contract will be renewed with new rental charges being enforced. Your new rental will be RM XXX and do pay by XX day of the month.
Injustice, and there's no logic to the sudden hike on what I am paying every month.
I took a moment, sat down, and pressed on the calculator and to my dismay, my rent is now suddenly 70% more. To be exact, it's 73% more than what I am paying now.
Gathered my facts, and found out that the overall house rent increased by 20% and if that's the case, technically every one's rent should increase by 20%.
I didn't want to argue, and volunteered to pay up to 50% more. After rounds of negotiation, I am now paying about 60% more.
It's time to move again.
I just can't wait. Excited.

Wow..and Wow!!! but moving to a new place is always exciting.
Yikes! That's an unreasonable increase.
I hate it when landlords do that.. All the money we earn goes to them while they shake their legs and be mean.
