With Rubber & Rims

No, this is not another sex entry.

If you think that it's all about the condom and some tongue action, then am sorry the disappointment.

With all that, I think I have learnt my lesson.

Yesterday itself, I have spent about 1.5 K to fix my car tyres and rims. Yup, changed all 4 of it (though initially intended to change only the 2 front tyres) and to add on to the bill, all 4 rims were being changed as well.

To me, so long a car can get you from point A to B, there's no need to spend any additional money other than just to maintain it.

What can I say, already spent and the bill has been paid.

All I can do now is to be more careful when driving, as to bad driving habits will just make the car worn out a little faster.

That's my weekend, folks !

What's Work Got To Do

Yup. Here's another entry about work.

And yes, I have been busy with it the past 2 weeks.

Jam packed, swarmed with never ending tasks. To make it more challenging, there's like 1 crisis to manage.

Having said that, am glad that tomorrow is already a Friday and can't wait for the weekend.

The past few days, being busy. I came across this person's profile in Jack'd.

Having to realize that he's actually nearby (and I think his office block is just across the road), I wished that I'll stumbled upon him.

Indeed, yesterday I was lucky.

He walked right past me, and I managed to see him in real, face to face.

Today, I checked on the profile again.

Not quite sure, but few pictures and the actual person doesn't really tally.

Am just over imagining, or he just edited his pictures ?

Just wish that those were pictures from different years.

Just a quick shout-out to my dearest mother.

The superhero of my life.

Thank you for the strength, wisdom & motivation. Forever guiding me in the journey called life.

A person that I'll always look up to, a person that I'll always turn to when I need a shoulder to cry on.

That Fighting Spirit

Normally I wouldn't.

There's been a lot going on lately at work.

Pressure sinks in, deadlines running tight and things going off track slightly a little.

Am going insane.

All mellow, moody and lonely. Somewhat am alone in the team.

Blame it on myself, or someone - work is still work. And to complete the work is the only solution.

In fact I am just too eager, wanting the month of May to end fast. By then, I know that most of my tasks for the year have been completed.

What is there left to do ? Just in case unexpected "work" pops out, at least I would know how to better manage it.

You see, the thing is "you are not performing as what people expected you to be". Surrounded by a pool of Clients, whom are [blank] (well, most of them) doesn't seems to motivate you at all.

How to keep on driving like that ?

At this point, am just going to give in and do what they want. Oh well, they are the kind of people with no room for compromise/toleration in their brain.

Sigh...

Blues Tune

What a weekend.

Indeed, a little different.

A long weekend for most, and as for me, it's a working Monday.

Yesterday was a day filled with intensity right ?

I got all hyped up waiting for the results, tuning to radio. Refreshing web browsers & switching channels in the telly.

Waited till 1 in the morning, then headed to bed.

I woke up as usual, drove to work with a little Monday "blues" in my mind. Yup, blue all the way when I saw the newspaper headline.

Life goes on, but in a way am glad with the distribution of the seats. Somewhat closer now and that would make an interesting term - at least for the coming five years.

Somewhat yesterday evening - a lot of inspiring and whole lot of unity.
