Is friend just enough for him to carry on with his life ? To hold on to it, and give a little hope ?
It's just sad to see that he's struggling hard to keep his emotions calm and act cool. It's not easy, and never going to be easy so long the guy he loves is still in his presence.
He can just wish for a different sparks in his life.

Yes, there can be friendship after love.
I do think it's possible..
Because I believe no matter how much you loved someone, it is possible for that feeling to fade and for you to get over someone completely. Hence a friendship can still be formed. :)

It will be awkwardly different, only that time will fade the love away in him.

I was told by the bf that he wouldn't cheat on me. If he wanted someone else, he would just break up with me. Why? Cuz if he cheated, we could never be friends anymore.
Harsh. It hurt a little bit. But meh, what can I do? I'll just hope I'll never live to see that day. Hmm...
